Hi, friends!

I am a public servant because I believe in a government by the people, made up of the people. It’s the reason I went to law school, why I fight daily for the people as a state worker and have helped recover hundreds of thousands of dollars for the people of Washington. It’s the reason I am running for Olympia City Council.

I work to increase housing for all income levels, expand tenant protections, steward our forests and shoreline, and uphold Olympia as a Sanctuary City during these challenging times. I support the Workers’ Bill of Rights and the power of the labor movement. I look forward to talking with you during my campaign, and I hope to earn your vote.

Priorities

A Livable City

I support the Council’s current work around zoning reform, affordable housing, and tenant protections.

I will work to expand protections for tenants and small landlords.

I will also explore pathways to reduce the cost of building housing in our city, increasing stock and driving down costs for all residents.

I will continue the city’s current work around preparing for the effects of climate change that help us meet targets outlined in the Thurston County Climate Mitigation Plan.

I will also seek to balance environmental sustainability with economic resilience, helping ensure that Olympia’s budget is balanced and small businesses are able to succeed.

A Resilient City

A Just City

I am proud to live in a Sanctuary City for LGBTQIA+ people and immigrants.

Beyond proclamations, I would like to see Olympia expand crisis response options for folks experiencing mental health and addiction issues, freeing up resources for our valued first responders.
